# What it is

Artificial Outreach is outbound and inbound email that a small company runs itself, with a person approving what matters.

## The Queue

The one list of everything that needs a person, ordered by what each item unblocks: approve a first message, decide about companies discovery found, add an address, connect a mailbox. Zero is the goal. Above it, two status pills say whether drafting and sending are on, and a trace line says what happened today without you.

## Ideal customer (ICP)

Who buys from you, as traits with weights: industry, place, size and the rest. It is drafted from your website during setup and you correct it. Every company discovery finds is scored against it.

## Audience and the review

Audience is everyone discovery found and everyone you have decided to reach. The review is where you decide about what discovery found: companies arrive grouped by who they are, where they are and who you would write to, with the reasoning beside them and one decision per group — approve, discard, or hold for the next group.

## Sequence, first message and follow-ups

A sequence is the series of messages written for one person. The first message waits for your approval; approving it starts the sequence, and the follow-ups are written shortly before each one goes and sent on their dates without coming back to you. A reply stops the rest of the sequence.

## Data credit

The unit you pay for data with. Verifying an address costs one credit, revealing an address from the data provider costs one, and enriching a company costs three. Reading your website, drafting, writing, sending and qualifying leads never use credits. Each plan includes a monthly amount; unused credits do not carry over.

## Connect a mailbox, and the ramp

Messages send from your own Microsoft 365 or Gmail mailbox. When you connect it, the product checks your domain’s SPF, DKIM and DMARC records and tells you plainly if it is not ready for cold email. You then choose how fast it may send: Careful (10 a day at first, rising to 30), Standard (15 rising to 50) or Fast (25 rising to 100). That approved pace is the ramp.

## Held, and why

A message that cannot go yet is held, and the reason is shown. The reasons are: address not verified; no sending room today; waiting for the sending window; paced; contacted too recently; an earlier step has not gone; someone else at the company is mid-sequence; no unsubscribe line; address bounced; on the opt-out register; out of credits.

## The morning summary

One email each morning, from your connected mailbox to your team: what happened since yesterday, who answered, what is held right now and why, companies waiting for your call, and what needs you. Each member can turn it off in Settings.

## Hosted lead form

A form the product hosts for every lead capture key, so a website without its own form can still send leads in. Submissions become leads in your workspace; a disposable or testing address is kept as a record and never written to.

## Read-only

What your workspace becomes when a trial or plan ends. Everything is kept and visible; nothing is written or sent until you choose a plan, and choosing one restores the workspace in place.
